#EVE NG TELNET CLIENT CODE#

It's just TOO MUCH if all this code has all been debugged to have to tear into source code just to try and RECREATE what is probably one of the more common applications of ESP8266 out in the real world. (sorry, fixed link) there's about 70 options from which there's probably about 7 that are really necessary to make this work, but I haven't yet figured out which 7! Now LaserGRBL says his code will talk to either WebSocket or telnet but he doesn't currently "support" either (meaning tell EXACTLY which modules go in the build). (If you go to the LaserGRBL web page he basically DOESN'T DO support, heck I don't blame him but he doesn't explain what to do with his ".ino" file either.) If you go to nodemcu-build I can "get the ESP in the air" but I can't configure it OTA or talk to it with LaserGRBL. The title gets most of it, I have an ESP-01, and a CH340 board to plug into PC, and an adapter to connect the 3018 to the ESP-01. Is it possible that there is no option to do something like that if you are using laptop?

This is very strange since the solution on my old PC which had a monitor would be to simply turn off the monitor by pressing the power button. Even if the brightness is set to 0, my screen is still fully visible.

Some of the solutions included setting up screen brightness to 0 so it looks like it's turned off, but unfortunately that didn't work for me either. Powershell scripts work fine if I need to turn off the screen, but it turns back on as soon as I move the mouse. I spent a lot of time on a research and tried various solutions, but usually none of them work. I would like it to turn back on only when I press "Ctrl + alt + o" again. In case there is a mouse movement or key pressed, I would like it to remain off. For example, I would like to set a hotkey "Ctrl + alt + o", which would turn off my laptop screen. I would like it to remain turned off until I press a pre-determined key. I tried to set it by using various options available in Windows, but whenever there is a mouse movement, or if I press a key via remote desktop, my laptop's screen turns back on. I am searching for a way to turn off the display on my laptop (without closing the lid). I have various automation scripts running in the background (which include mouse movement and certain keystrokes), and sometimes I even access my laptop remotely. I am looking for a way to turn on and off my laptop screen easily (without it going to sleep or hibernate mode).
